Serena Williams Wins US Open Tennis 2022 Round 2 vs Anett Kontaveit

 

American Serena Williams, six-time World woman tennis champion and 23-time Grand Slam champion announced that she plans to retire after the  2022 US Open.  Meanwhile, in a remarkable second-round game and an outstanding coming back,  on Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows, New York  on August 31, 2022, Serena Williams beat second seed Anett Kontaveit. With the win, she delayed her final match before the retirement.

Serbian Novak Djokovic Defeats Australian Kyrgios, Winning the Seventh Wimbledon Title

On Sunday, July 10, 2022, Serbia's Novak Djokovic, 35, won Wimbledon Title for the fourth time in a row, after defeating Australia's Nick Kyrgios, 27, in the final match. With the win, Novak Djokovic has now a  record seventh title at the Wimbledon All England Club.

Coco Gauff World loses to Naomi Osaka in 2019 US Tennis Open

French Tennis Open, known as Roland Garros,  is a major tennis event   for both  Women and Men.  For Women,  all eyes were expected to be on World known champions, such as Serena Williams or Naomi Osaka. However, as days have gone by, a new Women Tennis phenomenon has taken over:   Coco Gauff, the rising genius from Delray Beach, Florida, USA. In 2022 the French Open,  Coco Gauff reached the finals for both Women's Doubles and Women's Singles. She had the chances to win both, but she faced tough favorite competitors, especially the World number one ranked, Ukrainian Iga Swiatek, in the Singles.  Hence, she didn't win any of the two finals, but she made tremendous steps on her journey to the top of Women Tennis.
