Over the last 4 years, several major events have affected the Black community. These events have included some progress, setbacks, and tragic moments. Progress includes the first Black woman Vice-President, Kamala Harris, the election and re-election of Rev. Raphael Warnock to the US Senate and some wins in murder cases against innocent Blacks. Setbacks encompass the repression of Voting Rights in some states, the attempts to stop the teaching of Critical Race Theory and the continued murders of Blacks people. Human tragedies have reached new heights with the murders of Blacks by the police or other people driven by hate, racism, and prejudice. The theme of 2024 Black history month is: “Existing Outside the Lines - The Colors of Resistance: African American and the Arts."

On Tuesday, September 12 , 2023 starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple, Inc ( AAPL ) will hold the annual Fall event. The event is held every year, usually in September, at Apple's Apple Park spaceship in Cupertino, California. This year's event, labelled "Wonderlust", will be streamed online for the public and the press. The event is the stage for Apple's numerous all-new lineup products, including the new iPhone 15 lineup, Apple Watch Series 9, an Apple Watch Ultra 2, and potentially other products during the event.
Meanwhile, Apple stock price has been on the rollercoaster in the last two months, after a strong momentum over the year. It has remained resilient, close to the highest levels of late July 2023.

On Monday, June 5-9 , 2023 starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, Apple, Inc ( AAPL ) will hold the annual Apple Worldwide Developer Conference, or WWDC. The event is held every June at Apple's Apple Park spaceship in Cupertino, California. The event is the stage for Apple's numerous software platforms, including the new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
Meanwhile, Apple stock price has been on a rollercoaster, reaching high levels.

Monday night, April 25, 2022 was another moment with a suspense on NBA playoff games. Before the games started, in the Eastern Conference two teams in the playoff runs were on the verge of moving ahead to the second round. First, the Boston Celtics that had snatched 3 consecutive wins from the Brooklyn Nets. Then, the Toronto Raptors with 1-3 score against the 76 ers. Hence, on Monday, 2 teams were expected to exit the playoffs. It did not happen that way. Only the Celtics did it and advanced to the Conference Semi-Finals. Then on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, Miami Heat eliminated Atlanta Hawks.

The week ending on May 8, 2022 has highlighted the competitive dynamics within the NBA playoff games. The weeks started with the two conference teams entering the Semi-Finals. The winning teams outpaced their opponents and no teams had to play 7 games. In the Eastern Conference Boston Celtics, Miami Heats and Milwaukee Bucks had dominated their opponents, whereas in the Western Conference, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Garden State Warriors, and Memphis Grizzlies had outshined their competitors.

These three perspectives constitute the themes to reflect on during the Black History Month of 2022.
