Serena Williams Wins 23rd Grand Slam Title with 2017 Australian Open

American Serena Williams, the  former World woman tennis champion has won semi-finals against German Julia Gorges (6-2 6-4) in Wimbledon Open. She will face German Angelique Kerber on Saturday July 14, 2018. If she  wins, Serena will equal Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 grand slam singles titles. It will also be a wonderful gift, as the first grand-slam title after giving birth in September 2017.

Sloane Stephens Wins 2017 U.S. Open

Venus Williams beats Johanna Konta in 2017 Wimbledon semi finals

American Venus Williams, 37,  beat British Johanna Konta, 26,  6-4, 6-2 on Thursday, July 13, 2017,  to reach her ninth final at the All England Club and first since 2009.  If she wins the final, she will have the sixth Wimbledon championship and eighth Grand Slam singles title.
