In August 2015, only few news media believed Donald Trump, the US Republican Presidential candidate was believable. AfroAmerica Network was one of them. This is what AfroAmerica Network published on August 15, 2015.

The person is the US Presidential candidate Donald Trump. When he srtarted, few believed that Donald Trump was serious. Then he had that speech about Mexican immigrants. Subsequently, the polls in his favor shot into the roof. He has been dominating the Republican landfield to date... Yes, Donald Trump has become more and more presidential, mainstream, and a candidate to be reckoned with. As times went, Donald Trump has attacked any real or perceived opponent. Republican contenders started dropping like flies. From 17 or maybe more Republican candidates who started, 3 ran to the end and now, two have just given up, leaving the field all to Donald Trump. No one was spared, except ... some say, African Americans. Donald Trump is particularly fond of Ben Carson, his former rival turned confident and Oprah Winfrey, whom he said he would consider as a worthy running mate. Donald Trump did not hesitate to tackle topics seen before as too politically incorrect: Mexicans, Chinese, Muslims, Wealthy New Yorkers, NAFTA, NATO, etc.
He has often promised and tried to tweak his message and becoming more and more presidential. He only succeeded to utter more controversial statements and his rating continued to shoot up through the roof. His popularity has made both the Republicans and Democrats scratch their head, as what he said said appeared more and more to resonate with the deep America: veterans not being treated properly, China taking advantage of the US, crumbling infrastructure, women... yes, women, not getting their fair share in corporations, immigration being a major concern, the US military needing to be reinforced, and campaign finance reform. One may accuse Donald Trump of anything else, but he has touched the main issues of impartance for maintream America. The Republican establishment tried to stop him, created super PACs and "StopTrump" movements, threatened to stop him during the contested convention. They failed.
Now, he has become the Presumed Republican Presidential Candidate. In August 2015, AfroAmerica Network wrote: "For Donald Trump, there are now only two candidates: Donald Trump on the Republican or third party side and Bernie Sanders on the Democratic side. But he may have forgotten, intentionally perhaps, the leading Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and the Republican Jebb Bush, his challenger."
Well, the prediction has become reality. We now have three candidates remaining: Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Who will win? What is sure is that the Republican primaries are over.
