The future of the US, at least the next four years, will be highly depending on the upcoming Georgia January 5, 2021 runoff US Senate election. The runoff election in Georgia was triggered after no candidate in either of the 2 Senate races won more than 50% of the vote in the Nov. 3. 2020 general election.
The elections oppose two Democratic challengers to two Republican current senators: Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock against Republican Senator David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff vs Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler.
A Historic Moment for the United States of America.
If the two democratic candidates win, the Democrats will take narrow control of the US Senate, with the help of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris as a tiebreaker.
Otherwise, if the two Republican Senators hold onto their seat, the Republicans will preserve their party's control of the Senate, by a 50-48 margin.
If the two democrats win, there are expectations of the passage of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris agenda including expansion Healthcare and Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare), Police and prison reform, Environment Support, etc. (see AfroAmerica Network: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' Agenda).

Money Pouring in a Historic Shift: Democrats Out-raising the Republicans
According tor reports, in the runoff election, Jon Ossoff has already raised $106.8 million, during the filing period from October 15 to December 16, 2020. Jon Ossof has spent $93.5 million, ending the period with 17.5 million in the bank. For the same period, David Perdue, Jon Ossoff's opponent, raised $68.1 million and ended with $16 million in the bank.
Reverend Raphael Warnock has raised $103.4 million during the same period, spending $86.1 million and ending with $22.8 million in the bank. US Senator Kelly Loeffler, has raised $64 million and has now $21.3 million in the bank.
Who are Jon Ossoff, David Alfred Perdue, Reverend Raphael Warnock, and Kelly Loeffler?
Jon Ossoff, 33, is the CEO of a documentary film making company, Insight TWI. Before that he worked for congressman Hank Johnson. Jon Ossoff also says in his commercial ads, that he got his job from the late Georgia Congressman and Civil Rights icon, Rep. John Lewis, who died in Summer of 2020 (See AfroAmerica Network: ). When he launched his campaign, he was endorsed by John Lewis. Snapchat and TikTok.
David Alfred Perdue Jr, 71, is a former Reebok Senior Vice-President and CEO of Dollar Genera. He is also an avid supporter of President Trump. He has served as Georgia US Senator since 2015. He is now facing scrutiny over multimillion dollar stock trades in companies whose business falls under his purview on Senate committees.
Reverend Raphael Warnock, 51, is a pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. He occupies the chair that once was held by US Civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr.
Reverend Raphael Warnock works closely with Stacy Abrams (see AfroAmerica Network) on New Georgia Project, a voting rights activists organisation. Reverend Warnock grew up in public housing as the eleventh of twelve children born to Verlene and Jonathan Warnock, both Pentecostal pastors. His father served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he learned automobile mechanics and welding and subsequently opened a small car restoration business where he restored junked cars for resale. He has been endorsed by Democratic Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Brian Schatz, Cory Booker, Sherrod Brown, Kirsten Gillibrand, Jeff Merkley, and Chris Murphy, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Stacey Abrams, and former presidents Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter.
Kelly Loeffler, 51, a Georgia senator, is considered the wealthiest US Senator. She was named to the US Senate in December 2019 by Governor Brian Kemp, to replace Johnny Isakson, following his resignation for health reasons. Ms Loeffler is co-owner of the Atlanta Dream, a women's NBA team. Calling herself the most conservative Republican in the Senate and the staunch ally of President Trump, she strongly opposed Black Lives Matter movement, which has led to a strong opposition to the ownership of the NBA team. Justifying h her opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement, she said the movement "advocates things like defunding and abolishing the police, abolishing our military, emptying our prisons, destroying the nuclear family", "promotes violence and antisemitism", and was "based on Marxist principles" and threatens to "destroy" America. In reaction, several players of the Atlanta Dream, wore shirts endorsing Warnock.
She is also know for her controversial tweets about the People's Republic of China, in which she blamed the contraction of COVID-19 tweeting, "China gave this virus to our President @realDonaldTrump and First Lady @FLOTUS. WE MUST HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE."[53]
