According to the sources, the assets, including money, minerals, jewelry, and other expensive furnitures and personal items are being carried by plane to Cuba.

The pilot or owner of the plane is known in Kinshasa as Tim, according to the sources.   AfroAmerica Network has obtained more information on the assets movement and the people involved.

The latest information, from sources based  both in Johannesburg, South Africa and  Kinshasa, DRC, say that the assets are being channeled to Cuba by direct flights and indirect transit routes.

According to the sources, in recent weeks, Janet Kabila, the twin sister of Joseph Kabila, flew directly  to Cuba on a plane owned and operated by a certain Tim. Once in Cuba, she connected with Mugaru Christopher, Joseph Kabila's private accountant and presidential palace manager.

Mugaru Christopher had taken an indirect route through Johannesburg, South Africa. Both spent 10 days in Havana,  Cuba.  There, they allegedly made several transactions, including opening bank accounts, buying mansions,  and securing storage places for  assets and expensive furnitures. They both returned to Kinshasa late last week, Janet Kabila directly by Tim's plane and Mugaru,  through South Africa

Mugaru Christopher is a former DRC Ambassador to Tanzania.
