US Tennis Open, like Wimbledon and Roland Garros,  is a major tennis event  for both  Women and Men.  In the 2023 US Tennis Open for Women,  all eyes have been focusing on the new  Women Tennis phenomenon:  Coco Gauff, Atlanta, GA born and a tennis  genius from Delray Beach, Florida, USA. and   the new US Tennis prodigy who has been building on the path left by  Serena Williams, since the latter  announced her retirement. In US Tennis Open Women Single semi-final,  on Thursday night, Sep 7, 2023, No 6. seed Coco Gauff  delivered a straight-sets win, 6-7, 7-5, over No. 10 seed Karolina Muchova of the Czech Republic.

With the win,  Coco Gauff became a phenomenon, being the youngest American player to reach the US Open final since 17-year-old Serena Williams in 1999. Coco Gauff is now ready to play her first US Open final. 

During the two sets match at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Coco Gauff appeared very relaxed, despite unexpected events.
The semi-final match between Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova was delayed  50 minutes by protests about the Climate change. 

On Saturday, Sep 9, 2023, a highly anticipated US Open Women Final will pit Coco Gauff  against the  No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka.  Saturday's final will be Gauff's second in a Grand Slam after she advanced to the 2022 French Open final. Hence, it will be her first Grand Slam championship.

Aryna Sabalenka qualified for the final to face Coco Gauff after a huge comeback against No 19.seed Madison Keys at Arthur Ashe Stadium.  Madison Keys. 

Aryna Sabalenka was slow to start, when Madison Keys won the first set 6-0.  She finally won with  0-6, 7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (10-5), hence advancing to the second Grand Slam final of her career. Aryna Sabalenka  has already moved to the No. 1 ranking within the WTA.

The  US Open final is highly anticipated, especially given the performance of the teenage Coco Gauff against the experienced Aryna Sabalenka in the previous matches. In the past, the two played against each, with Coco Gauff having won 3  and  Aryna   Sabalenka 2 games.

Gauff, the 19-year-old prodigy,  has appeared to be the  most favorite player of the  cheering crowd over the rounds. Hence, the match is very anticipated and may create an explosion of joy from the crowd if she wins.
