The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Bucs, have beaten the defending champion, Kansas City Chiefs, KC, to win the Super Bowl 55 and the 2021 NFL championship. With the win, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have secured the second Super Bowl title in NFL franchise history.
The Bucs led the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs from the onset. By the end of the third quarter, they
already had 31-9, which ended up to be the final score.
As expected, Tom Brady, the quarterback, delivered an outstanding performance. However, the most outstanding
achievement came from a flawless defensive team. The defense showed the successful strategy by Todd Robert Bowles, the defensive coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Bucks' defense challenged the Chiefs Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, the current Super Bowl MVP, either blocking him
or intercepting his passes.
The Super Bowl was held in The Bucks' stadium, Raymond James Stadium. Hence, with the win, the Bucs have become the first team in NFL history to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
The 2021 Super Bowl 55 halftime show was delivered by The Weeknd. The show was impressive, with lights and masked dancers performing on Weeknd's hits, and appeared to be a mix of virtual reality, with head spinning effects, dynamic selfies, and physical performance. Weeknd's performance generated several comments on social media.
Before the start of Super Bowl 55, Country singer Eric Church and R&B artist Jazmine Sullivan paired
up for a duet for "The Star-Spangled Banner" and R&B artist H.E.R. performed "America the Beautiful"
