As the November 2, 2021polls results were being counted, there was a major sport event going on in USA: Baseball World Series championship.  Atlanta defeated the Houston Astros 7-0 (box score) in Game 6 to win the series, 4-2.
It was the first time since 1995, that the Atlanta Braves became the World Series champions. The game was held at Houston's Minute Maid Park, after the Atlanta Braves failed to win in Atlanta, on Sunday October 31, 2021. The Astros scored 9-5 (box score), and managed to get to 3-2.  Atlanta Braves Jorge Carlos Soler Castillo won World Series MVP.

In Houston, the key players who improved the odds were Jorge Soler, Freddie Freeman, and Dansby Swanson. The key strategy early in the game proved to be a wise move. They scored home-runs by Jorge Soler, who finished with the MVP title.
The odds for Atlanta Braves championship were not favorable during the early season, and even as they moved to the finals. Atlanta Braves were still losing in early August and they relied on new acquisitions. However, by mid-August they had earned a spot of the first place in the National League East.
