On Thursday night, June 1st, 2017, in Oakland, California, it was the energy-highlight-filled Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals.The Golden State Warriors dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers or the "Cavs" in the third and fourth quarter. By the end of the fourth quarter, the Warriors finished off with a 113-91 victory.
With the win, the Warriors improved their score to 13-0 in this year's playoffs. The Cavs struggled all along, and failed in the offense strategy. Struggling to keep up in the first and second quarter, they finally let the Warriors cruise to the final second of the game.
Asked who was the star of the game, the media and stars were unanimous: Kevin Durant. Even Lebron James, the most valuable star of NBA, had to agree: it is "KD", he simply said, meaning Kevin Durant. According to some fans and basketball experts, the game was really between LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
In his NBA finals since 2012, Kevin Durant was a different player, determined to win, in a team hungry for victory. He scored 38 points, with eight rebounds, eight assists, and
a lot of motivational gestures towards his teammates. It is true that other Warriors top players greatly contributed, especially Steph Curry and Draymod Green.
