Serena Williams Wins 2015 French Open

The Women Tennis world number one, American Serena Williams, has defeated world number 13, Lucie Safarova, from the Czek Republic, to win her fifth French Open and her 20th Grand Slam title. Suring this French Open,  she has faced multiple challenge, including an illness since Thursday, and mounted comeback after comeback.  By winning, she cimented her record over both Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert in the number  of major singles titles.

NFL 2023 - 2024 Conference Championship as of February 2, 2024

The teams getting ready to face each other for the Super Bowl LVIII are in intense preparations. The two teams went to the top surprisingly as many dynamics dominated the playoffs.   The two teams won the games during the semi-finals as the top 8 teams in both the 2 conferences, American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (AFC), struggled to reach the semi-finals or their conference champion games.   The two teams are: Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.  Meanwhile, the names of the performers who will join Usher still remain a mystery. Only the performers of the National Anthem and America the Beautiful have been disclosed.

NBA 2022: Joel Embiid in Raptors vs 76ers on April 25, 2022

 2023-2024 NBA season is coming. Meanwhile, Denver Nuggets are still celebrating their first NBA championship win, when, with the outstanding performance of MVP Nikola Jokic, they beat the Miami Heat in June 2023. Now, with the upcoming season, the main question is whether Denver Nuggets are ready  to repeat the success. In fact, most analysts  have started to rather point to The Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns as the most favorite teams for the 2023-2024 season.

WNBA 2023 Championship Finals as of October 22, 2023

On October 18, 2023, the 2023 WNBA Finals ended. The Las Vegas Aces (LVA) outperformed the New York Liberty to end with another historical win.  Las Vegas Aces A'ja Wilson won the Finals MVP. The award was also a culmination of an exciting season, in which the Aces aced the championship despite some key players facing major challenges. The attention are now shifting to the upcoming NBA and who will dominate the 2023 - 2024 season.

In 2024, Olympic Games will be held in Paris, France. Among the sports included is Basketball. The USA Basketball team will be there, chasing the fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. Following the loss of FIBA World Cup in August 2023, the Olympics will be critical and highly competitive for the USA Basketball team. However, the USA just got a key player:  76 ers player Joel Embiid, the reigning NBA MVP. Joel Embiid decided to join USA team, instead of the team of his native country Cameroon, where he grew up until he was  16 years-old and France, where he is a naturalized citizen. 

Simone Biles Win All-Around Gold Medal at Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, October 6, 2023

Simone Biles,  the most decorated gymnast in the World championships history  and the recipient of the US Medal of Freedom has added a new medal to her count. On  Friday, October 6, 2023,  Simone Biles, 26,  added another  gold medal to her collection. With the medal, she becomes the most decorated gymnast in history and the first female gymnast to win six all-around world titles.
