NBA 2022 Championship as of May 15, 2022

The week ending on May 15, 2022 finished with a surprise. In the Eastern Conference  Boston Celtics managed to beat  Milwaukee Bucks  after a grueling 7th game.  The competition was really between Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo  and Celtics' Jayson Tatum.   Game 7 was crucial: the Bucks, led by Jayson Tatum, fought to solidify  themselves as champions again, whereas the Celtics sought to  access the conference finals. 

NBA 2020: Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic vs Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo

On Wednesday May 11, 2022, Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic won 2021-2022 NBA MVP award. With the win, he gets the title for the second straight year.  He was facing a tough competition from 76ers' Joel Embiid and Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The week ending on May 8, 2022 has highlighted the competitive dynamics within the NBA playoff games. The weeks started with the two conference  teams entering the Semi-Finals. The winning teams outpaced their opponents and no teams had to play 7 games. In the Eastern Conference  Boston Celtics, Miami Heats and Milwaukee Bucks had dominated their opponents,  whereas in the Western Conference, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks,  Garden State Warriors, and  Memphis Grizzlies had outshined their competitors.
